SMS messages are available in increments of 100 and are priced at £0.05 per message including VAT. Once purchased messages don’t expire.
To take in person card payments via Stripe you need to purchase a payment terminal, these are currently £190 per unit which is a one off cost. Additionally Stripe will charge a fee on each transaction. Currently Stripe charge 1.5% + 20p for Standard UK cards and 1.9% + 20p for Premium UK cards, a Premium UK card is a commercial, corporate or business card issued by Visa or Mastercard. Cards issued within the European Economic Area are charged at 2.5% + 20p and all other international cards are charged at 3.25% + 20p with an additional 2% fee if a currency conversion is required.
